Sporting Schools

Sporting Schools is an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools to increase children's participation in sport, and to connect them with community sporting opportunities.

Sporting Schools programs are provided free to children and their families to help students build the confidence and capability to be active for life.

Shellharbour City Basketball Association is now an approved provider for basketball.

Sporting Schools funding is open for Term 4, but applications close Friday, August 22 at 5pm.

Spaces are limited, so if you would like the opportunity to bring a high quality, fun and engaging basketball program to your school please apply asap.

Primary schools can apply for grants of between $1000 and $3600 (GST ex), per term to assist with delivering the program.
